You won’t ussualy find a theif carrying their own ladder but ladders left lying out in a yard can be used to reach the upper windows that usually have less security Leaving a ladder around outside is like putting a welcome mat out for any burglars. These thieves will ALWAYS look for the houses that make it easier for them to gain access to your house. And never leave a ladder that can be used to access the roof in an unlocked shed.
