Hawkeye company standard for glass break detector installation is to flip switch 1 for MEDIUM sensitivity. Out of the box, it is set to HIGH and will likely give false alarms unless it is in a large area with a lot of absorptive materials such as thick carpet, plush couches, etc…
a side note is a very small room with a lot of hard reflective, surfaces such as a bathroom, may need to be set on LOW sensitivity.
The glass breakage sensors are rated for a range of 25’. In the part number 1625, the 16 indicates the 16th generation, the 25 means 25 feet.
